Genetically Modified Foods

There is a great difference between meats and food quality between most countries in europe and the US. There is a big controversy over the use of Genetically Modified animals and plants for the use of Food. These genetically modified foods are supposed to create larger fruits and fatter cows that taste and look better. However, the issue of health and safety of both the animals and consumers must be taken into consideration. One will find, that in most restaurants in Europe, the steak tastes a little bit different, maybe even a little gamey. This is because the European Food Safety Authority is cracking down on the way plants and animals are raised and used for food. It is a controversial issue that involves the International Trade of Genetically Modified Foods. There is a rapidly rising concern in Europe regarding the use of Genetically modified foods. The EU is cracking down on regulations and the use of labeling on certain GM foods. This concern is also reaching over to the US where there is a steadily rising concern as well. However, the use of genetically modified food and controversial agricultural techniques are, for now, not as publicly fought as they are in Europe.
